Our crops are grown from hemp seeds listed in the European certified seed catalog, guaranteed to have a THC content of less than 0.3%. Our hemp is cultivated without any pesticides or irrigation.

At La Chanvrière, hemp is grown both for its seeds and its straw, ensuring an economic balance and long-term sustainability for the farmers.

The way the harvest is organized allows us to maintain optimal control over the quality of the inputs:

• We select the best service providers to ensure the best conditions for drying, cleaning, and storing the seeds.
• We maintain quality control from the field to the customer. 
• Our seeds can be contracted either before or after harvest.
• Shipments are flexible and can be arranged throughout the year.

The seeds are harvested at full maturity and under the best weather conditions by our farmers. They know that their production will be paid according to quality (moisture, impurities, proportion of immature seeds). Using advanced equipment, each batch is analyzed upon delivery for factors like oleic acid, peroxide index, moisture, and impurity levels, which help determine the product’s destination:

• Either for the birdseed or fishing industries
• Or for human food (both conventional and organic seeds)
